James graduated from the University of St Andrews with a degree in Biology and has worked as an advisor within the energy sector for 11 years with experience which spans exploration, capital projects, field developments, and late life operations. Joining the company in 2017, James currently works in the Harbour Energy North Sea Business Unit's Energy & Emissions Team, based in Aberdeen, where for the past five years he has championed the delivery of the energy & emissions reduction strategy and improved emissions accounting practices. In addition, he was responsible for authoring the legacy Chrysaor Energy & Emissions Strategy.
